Friday 2nd October - walks ***** – Felixstowe and Woodbridge – sunny periods and warm.

Walk 1 – Sunrise at Felixstowe Ferry.

Mag headed off o her early mornig prom walk but I decided to drive down to Felixstowe Ferry at 6.30 takig my first pic at The Fludyers before parking near the chapel at the Ferry and watched the sunrise from near the Martello tower which was lovely in the light breeze! I then continued to the boatyard as the sun reached the River Deben for some boat reflections.
Mag went to pick up Maeva earlier so she could take her mum for an appointment while I made the picnic.

Walk 2 – Woodbridge with Maeva.

Maeva arrived around ten with a van full of toys and she was o fine form all day, just perfect:) We had breakfast I the sunny warm backgarden before havig a rummage in Mags selectio of craft items where I made a flower out of feathers before heading off I the van the 12 miles to Woodbridge and were lucky enough to park near the tennis courts so we could have a picnic in the van. We then collected Autumn stuff for Maeva to use at her Tuesday playgroup before heading to the good adventure playpark where Maeva had fun on the slides and we spent ages in the large sandpit, which she loved I her wellies before heading towards the River Deben, over the level crossing just as a train came through. Down to the small yacht pond where we watched a radio controlled yacht with Maeva having fun in a puddle. The up onto the river prom where we played hide and seek around a shelter. Moving on Maeva feed the ducks and gulls with the food not lasting long! She then walked most of the way to the white tide mill along low walls while holding Mags hand:) The tide was high with a nice breeze blowing up the river making it ideal for a few dinghies heading out from the sailing club as we headed back before diving home for a cuppa and biscuit then took Maeva Home, what a top day:)
